Get Sepolia ETH for free

A faucet is a service that hands out small amounts of test coins to use on testnets. Connect your MetaMask, follow the instructions and you'll receive about 0.05 Sepolia ETH: enough for plenty of test transactions.

Trust, but verify.

A serious platform publishes its contract code. If you can't read it, you don't know what it does with your tokens. Here's how to check in five steps:

  1. 01
    Find the contract address

Paste it into the Etherscan.io search bar (or Polygonscan for Polygon).

  2. 02
    Open the “Contract” tab

It should show the green ✓ “Verified” check.

  3. 03
    Review the source code

Under “Contract Source Code” you can read exactly what it does.

  4. 04
    Look for sensitive functions

mint, burn, pause, blacklist… and who can call them.

  5. 05
    Check the standard

It should follow ERC-20 (tokens) or ERC-721 (NFTs).

Field by field, no guesswork.

Expand the app you're about to use and follow the steps.

Create a TokenYour own ERC-20 token, deployed in minutes, without writing code.
  1. 1
    Token name

The full name wallets and explorers will display.

    Tip E.g. “Aurora Project Coin”.

  2. 2
    Symbol

A 3–5 character ticker, like BTC or ETH.

Tip Check on Etherscan that it can't be confused with a well-known token.

  3. 3
    Total supply

The total number of tokens that will ever exist.

Tip E.g. 1000000 for one million. You can't mint more after deployment.

  4. 4
    Decimals

How finely each token can be divided.

Tip Keep 18: it's the standard wallets and exchanges expect.

  5. 5
    Network

Sepolia for testing; Ethereum or Polygon for production.

Tip Always run a full test on Sepolia first.

When it's done you'll get the contract address. Share it so others can add your token to their wallet, and check it on Etherscan for the “Verified” badge.

File CertificationTamper-proof evidence that a file existed, and who owned it, on a given date.
  1. 1
    File

Select the document you want to certify.

Tip Any format works: PDF, image, audio, video…

  2. 2

    Tip E.g. “Lease agreement – Unit 4B – 2026”.

  3. 3
    Description

Context for the file: author, date, license.

Tip The more precise, the more useful as evidence.

  4. 4
    Network

Sepolia to test; Ethereum for the definitive certificate.

You'll receive a unique hash proving the file existed on that date. Keep the original file untouched: it's what allows the match to be checked.

Six habits that keep you safe.

  • Copy and paste addresses

Never type them by hand, and check the first and last characters.

  • Test on Sepolia first

Rehearse any important operation before doing it for real.

  • Use verified contracts

If the code isn't public, don't interact with it.

  • Guard your seed phrase

No legitimate service will ever ask for it. Not even us.

  • Review before signing

Read what your wallet shows: amount, network and destination.

  • Keep gas in reserve

Always hold some ETH or POL to pay network fees.
